Rim of the World 2002

Rim was not a good weekend for us! After the long tow to Palmdale from our shop in North Bend, Washington, we struck a curb in the dust on the first stage. This was a .8 mile spectator stage in a field next to the host hotel. The impact severely bent the left front control arm, broke the sway bar link, broke the right inner CV joint, bent the left front axle shaft, and broke the transmission casing at the mounts.
