Jeep YJ Wrangler
| YJ Wrangler's have notoriously undersized axles from the factory, especially when oversized tires are mounted. We recommend replacing the Dana 35C and Dana 30 with Dana 44 axles if off-road use with large (over 31") tires is in your future.
This YJ received Dana 44 axles originally from a Jeep Grand Wagoneer. Since this YJ is a 4-cyl. model and will be running 35" tires, we installed 5.38:1 axle gears. OME shocks and ARB air locking differentials round out the rig. Here are some pics. |
