VW Jetta Rally Cage

Current Rally America rules require FIA type cages for all rally cars now. This one is a little on the overkill side with thicker wall tubing than required, but a couple pounds vs. safety and durability is always worth it to us. This car has some optional features such as two door bars, braces for the rear suspension subframe, X in the rear supports, and lateral dash bar.(car is still under construction)

Yep, the rules are making it harder and harder to get in and out of your car!

Sheet gussets in roof X. These will be used in main hoop X and also in door X.

Sometimes the Bridgeport Notcher comes in really handy! Those door bars with their 60* plus notches used to be a pain in the rear - but not now!

Extra X in rear supports not required by current FIA/RA rules, nor are the rear suspension pickups.

Just need to add the plate gussets now
